Windcrest Animal Hospital has its own non-profit adoption center called "Save the Animals Adoption Center." The adoption center was created in memory of a former employee and pre-veterinary student, Kathy Rinneer, who was killed in a car accident.
Pets can be adopted from the center for a donation. The center also accepts monetary donations to help cover veterinary treatment costs for less fortunate pets.
